Nakhon Pathom overview

Nakhon Pathom Travel Guide
Fruits and various unusual dishes are the order of the day for visitors heading to Nakhon Pathom, just south of Bangkok. The Tha Chin River provides the setting for much of the area and the usual temples and various other religious structures make up the best of the local tourist attractions. Boats are often used as a preferred means of transport here and are regularly used by tourists to explore the fruit orchards and watch the local farmers going about their daily lives. Apples, coconuts and guava are regularly found throughout Nakhon Pathom and tasty snacks such as khao lam (sticky coconut rice) are widely on offer. Olan Lake provides visitors with the chance to enjoy a range of water sports including regular waterskiing and five-pole skiing.
