Narathiwat overview

Narathiwat Travel Guide
In the deep south of Thailand, the city of Narathiwat is found so far south that it borders Malaysia. Narathiwat appeals to nature-enthusiasts as there are many national parks, mountain ranges, lush forest and pretty waterfalls to explore while visiting the province of the same name. Pacho Waterfall is the primary draw and swimming in its pools is hugely rewarding after an often sweltering hike to find it. Its coastline contains Narathat Beach, which is popular with both Thais and foreigners as it is yet to be discovered by the masses. The province is one of only a handful in the country that is home to predominantly Muslim communities. A wide choice of local foods is on offer thanks to a great blend of cultures, races and religions—all offering something slightly different.
